Principal's Welcome Message
It is my distinct honour to welcome you to another exciting year at Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary School. As principal, I would like to welcome all our new students and their families to our community. We at Corpus Christi are committed to providing the best Catholic Education rooted in gospel values to enable all students to reach their full potential.
Corpus Christi Catholic Elementary School first opened its doors in 1965. Since its inception our school has enjoyed a rich history filled with academic excellence, a strong parish connection and an engaged parent community. We are extremely proud of all that we have accomplished and look with optimism to the future. Today we have around 440 students and close to 50 staff members at Corpus Christi Catholic School serving students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.
We continue to be a proud feeder school to Bishop Tonnos Catholic Secondary School in Ancaster and an active member of the St. Catherine of Siena Parish community. The school enjoys a wonderful relationship with the church and pastor Father Mark Gatto and associate pastor Father Ross Campbell.
Our school motto of Respect Yourself, Respect Your School, Respect Others, Walk With Jesus is firmly rooted in our students. The use of Restorative Practices at our school engages learners and creates a positive school climate. We will always work together as a faith community so that we can become caring responsible citizens ready for the challenges of the 21st century.
Yours in Catholic Education,
Mr. Mike Mielko
